Scarborough Channel Islands has appointed Offshore International Advertising to launch a new advertising approach.

After undertaking a competitor communications audit, the agency advised on changing the format of the advertising to emphasise the brand’s different colour and show a range of products and rates in each advert, rather than focusing on single products. This decision proved to be very effective with significant inflows of deposits.

Appointed as the retained agency, Offshore International Advertising and Offshore International Digital will be marketing the brand across the Channel Islands and globally. Offshore International Digital wins new award-winning hedge fund client.

Offshore International Digital has won the brief to develop a new brand and state-of-the art website for award-winning hedge fund business, Equinox Finance Management Ltd, after a 3-way pitch.

At present Equinox has USD200m of assets under management in its Russian Opportunities Fund. Investing in undervalued or inefficient securities issued by companies and governments in Russia, the fund was established in 1996 and has performed spectacularly over the past 7 years returning 8000% since 2001. The fund won the European Performance award in 2006 for the best performing emerging markets hedge fund.

Find a better buy, whatever the season.

Offshore International Digital has designed and produced a Flash animated presentation to be displayed in the main entrance of Fortis Guernsey’s office headquarters. Replacing a basic PowerPoint presentation, the new format shows key members of staff, business services, local community initiatives and sponsorships, in a smooth flowing and much more dynamic way. The result was an effective piece of motion graphics that stood out and communicated important information to visitors to the Fortis office.

Lucky guests get a top class view.

The only trouble with the Battle of Britain Air Display that occurs over the islands once a year, is getting a good spot to watch it from. The best places are always somewhere as high up as possible with an uncluttered panoramic view of the harbour and surrounding islands. A problem for many then. But not for the guests of the buffet lunch held in the Sark Room of Fortis Guernsey’s seafront offices, which have unparalleled views over the surrounding islands… (more…)

Over the years Offshore International Advertising have helped our friends at Aladdin’s Cave sell (via the miracle of broadcast-able sound) pots and pans, televisions, hi-fi’s, cutlery, sleeping bags, skiwear, tables and chairs, barbecues, glasses, cuddly toys, games, Barbie dolls, electric razors, curling tongs, coffee makers, Christmas trees, baubles, tinsel, Halloween costumes, fangs, fake blood, bins, digital cameras, microwave ovens, in fact all sorts of things. And of course, the store itself.

That’s genius…
