It would not be an exaggeration to say that I eat, sleep and breathe what I do. Unless of course someone wants to go for a Chinese and then sweet 'n' sour chicken balls pretty much take precedence over everything else.

Leaving South Africa - in an awfully expensive pair of Jimmy Choos - I learnt to really love this little rock called Guernsey and discovered that I could continue enjoying both my passions, managing investor communications for financial organisations, which I’m very good at, and spending a lot of money on shoes and I'm really good at that too.

After graduating with a Geography degree I stumbled across a London marketing agency for my first ‘proper’ job – and 6 years on I haven’t looked back. In today’s world, with constantly changing technology and economic factors, every day throws a new challenge to brands – and to us. I love that, and I’m a bit like that out of work too. Whether it’s trying to master the art of Dim Sum making, or learning to sail, I love new things. I draw the line at reading Harry Potter books though, sorry.

That said, if I ever went to a freezing land and was met by someone standing in a yellow patch of snow, trying to sell me canned carrots whilst at the same time speaking loudly in an unintelligible tongue on his hands-free phone ...why, I wouldn't give him a damn penny. I may wish to be a philanthropist...but I draw the line, y'know?

I ‘heart’ delicious food, my hubby, shoes, travelling the globe, health and fitness and anything heart shaped. My passion drives me, I believe that there are two types of people in life: Those that choose to sit back and wait for what they want or those that get out there and get exactly what they want - I'm definitely the latter.

Hailed by friends and family as Miss Positive, I am always ‘sometimes annoyingly’ looking for the good in all situations. After attending art and design College I landed a job for a small advertising firm as a junior artist. Working within a firm focused around advertising I became more interested in the broader picture of marketing services, it was then that I moved into my first marketing role with one of Jersey’s leading department stores. With a spot of travelling around the world inbetween I am now focused on developing my skills within the industry. It's very exciting to be a part of growing and developing the Oi Jersey office and to sharpen up my skills I am currently studying for my Chartered Institute in Marketing qualifications.
