One of Guernsey’s leading independent retailers, Aladdin’s Cave, celebrated its thirtieth anniversary by introducing new in-store promotional material created by Offshore International Advertising offering its customers a slice of the action.
The large format posters incorporated a special birthday cake in the shape of their logo made especially for the occasion and served up to their staff after being photographed.

What have Barbie and a charcoal barbeque got in common? No dodgy answer I’m afraid, just that you can find them both at Aladdin’s Cave – Guernsey’s best retail store.
Outdoor advertising works well, especially if you incorporate a creative idea that is a bit different. The new advertising theme for Aladdin’s Cave is based on showing the wide range of value-for-money available at the store, so I thought this ad worked pretty well.

Every year we come up with a new integrated campaign idea for our friends at Aladdin’s Cave – Guernsey’s greatest retail store out-of-Town (well arguably in the island).
Having carefully re-positioned the store over the past four years, we wanted to reflect the ever-increasing quality of products, service and shopping experience at Aladdin’s Cave. The new advertising campaign took the simple concept of showing the wide range underpinned by the great value prices…

Guernsey is a nice little island off the coast of France. Visitors come from all over the world, in particular the UK, to stay and more often than not forget to bring everything they need for their relaxing break. That’s where Aladdin’s Cave comes in…

Aladdin’s Cave is Guernsey’s leading independent retailer with a massive 50,000 sq.ft of space stacked with great value products across toys, nursery, soft furnishings, furniture, electrical, camping and homewares departments.
For the 2008 advertising campaign we created a series of seasonal advertising themes, each highlighting better buys on offer at the store…
Over the years Offshore International Advertising have helped our friends at Aladdin’s Cave sell (via the miracle of broadcast-able sound) pots and pans, televisions, hi-fi’s, cutlery, sleeping bags, skiwear, tables and chairs, barbecues, glasses, cuddly toys, games, Barbie dolls, electric razors, curling tongs, coffee makers, Christmas trees, baubles, tinsel, Halloween costumes, fangs, fake blood, bins, digital cameras, microwave ovens, in fact all sorts of things. And of course, the store itself.

Aladdin’s Cave were looking for a way to encourage more mums to visit their toy and nursery department. The team at Offshore International Advertising put their heads together and came up with the idea of running a promotion offering mums the chance to spend some money and get a free t-shirt for their little genius…

Offshore International has just completed the redesign of the Aladdin’s Cave website – www.aladdinscave.gg. Over the years working with the team at Aladdin’s Cave, we have successfully injected some colour, fun and humour into their advertising and it was felt that the time was ripe to do the same to their old website. So, armed with a site plan, bright colours and some images of fried eggs and squirrels, we set to work…
