Oi has won the digital marketing account for international airline Thai Airways UK & Ireland following a three-way pitch against London agencies.

The opportunity to pitch for the account came after Peter Grange, Oi Managing Director, travelled to Thailand with Thai Airways at Christmas. The major chaos at Heathrow Airport, due to severe snowstorms, meant that Thai Airways had to call all of their staff, including their sales and marketing team from the London office, to Heathrow…

‘While at the time the snow delays were bad, it meant that I met members of the sales and marketing team, got to chat to them over the few days which included talking about Oi and what we do,’ said Peter.

‘Several months ago, out of the blue, a member of the Thai Airways sales and marketing team emailed and asked if we would be interested in pitching for their digital account, to which I of course said yes!’.

Coming from what many may have said was a long-shot chance of winning against the incumbent and a large digital agency, both London-based, a strong team combining creative, digital, search engine optimization, and email marketing experts from Oi developed and presented a well thought out digital solution to the brief from the sales and marketing team at Thai Airways.

‘Working for such a prestigious international airline brand is very exciting and we’re looking forward to helping build their business across national and international markets,’ said Peter.

Oi’s first work for Thai Airways will involve redesigning and launching their UK and Ireland websites, undertaking a comprehensive SEO review and new SEO approach, developing a new digital marketing plan including database management, email marketing campaigns, ongoing analysis and strategic recommendations, plus promotional and campaign work.

‘As Thai Airways’ retained digital agency we’re looking forward to implementing a robust digital marketing program,’ said Georgea Frank-Tann, Oi Account Manager.

Following on from the Guernsey Post website re-design Oi has now completed the new,  fully content managed,  Guernsey Stamps e-commerce site…

The new Guernsey Stamps site features better usability and a much clearer checkout process.

All of the stamps have a custom built zoom feature, allowing users to zoom in on stamps sheets and view individual stamps clearly.

The new site includes express ordering for bulk orders allowing frequent stamp purchasers to easily click through placing a large order on one scrolling page, without having to navigate through to different pages for various products.

There is also a custom built polling page on which website visitors can vote on their favourite stamps. This serves as a fun an engaging tool for stamps aficionados and a great data capture mechanism for Guernsey Stamps.

Oi developed a WordPress based ecommerce system, linked in with RBS WorldPay, enabling our client to manage the site themselves, from updating content to adding new products and dispatching orders. Oi created a fully bespoke auto order feature utilising recurring billing from WorldPay which enables customers to schedule in regular orders for blades and handles so that they never find themselves reaching into an empty box.

Well, working on this cool new website from Guernsey Post’s Philatelic Bureau was lots of fun for those involved at Oi. The e-commerce website is part of a campaign to promote its new Penny the Postie children’s book – a great present for young children…

The website has a really nice illustrated design feel, simple navigation, nicely structured e-commerce system and some other subtle touches of Flash with the occasional wink and wave from the adventurous Penny as the wind blows through her hair

Guernsey Post has launched a new website designed and built by Offshore International Digital.

The new look www.guernseypost.com has a simpler design so users can easily find information on postal, business, retail, money or philatelic services and incorporates an advanced content management system for easy maintenance, postage calculator, postcode finders, mail tracker, to name a few features.

For the past couple of months the GTA University Centre has been benefitting from a new website and management information system since Offshore International Digital released it to the world.

The new site provides in-depth course and event information and online course booking.  It also provides students with an easy to use account management area enabling them to manage their training resources, download course documents and access training history and exam results.
