<p>Property Monthly (PM) is Thompson Estates&#8217; monthly property magazine (it&#8217;s all in the name!), that gets sent to every household in Jersey. September&#8217;s edition sees a few milestones &#8211; the company&#8217;s 10th birthday, PM&#8217;s 100th issue &#8211; and, the new design!</p>
<p><span id="more-8476"></span></p>
<p>The Oi Jersey team wanted to make an impact, and that they did. The front cover is simple and clean with a high gloss 3D image focusing on the 100th issue. But beyond the front cover there have been many changes. We have created more space for each property, introduced colour coding price markers so that it is easy to find houses within your budget, and combined new colourways, layouts and icons to finish off the sleek new look.</p>
<p>A really nice job which has received loads of positive feedback from islanders.</p>

<p>The brief:</p>

<p>The A5 keepsake cover looks old and worn with water marks and sun damage.  The last page includes a space to adhere your own Taj memory or photo encouraging guests to take the book home and keep it as a lasting memory. The saddle stitched binding is embellished with an eroded spine and rope binding effect. This brand new print sure does look old, but flip the cover and the contents is timeless much like the brand it represents.</p>

<p>Brochures were finished with high specifications including quality stocks, metallic inks, and spot varnishes. Big, striking images with the special 360° effect were incorporated as much as possible.</p>

<p>We also spent considerable time to produce a perfect bound A5 book full of case studies emphasising how the 360° Service has benefited different profiled clients.</p>

The world’s first payment routing tool may not sound very exciting to most people. But for those in IT departments of major banks this clever bit of software allows them (via internet banking) and internally to make payments more quickly, reliably and overall increases the efficiency of sending money around the world in any currency. A finely tuned brochure for a finely tuned product.</p>

<p>Waitrose, the supermarket chain of the John Lewis Partnership, whose reputation has been built on the quality and freshness of their food, has appointed Oi to work as its Channel Island marketing agency&#8230;<span id="more-7245"></span></p>
<p>“We are absolutely thrilled to be appointed to work with such a prestigious, quality brand. Everyone at Oi is looking forward to working with the team and using our local expertise to help Waitrose become the brand of choice for Channel Islanders,” said Heather Townsend, Account Director at Oi.</p>
<p>Waitrose recently acquired the Checkers stores at Red Houses and Rue des Pres in Jersey and Admiral Park in Guernsey, and the Safeway stores in each island. The stores will provide over 130,000 sq ft of selling space and open as Waitrose in a phased programme in early 2011.</p>
<p>The existing 480 employees in all five supermarkets will be offered roles within Waitrose and will have the opportunity to become Partners within the John Lewis Partnership. Waitrose is also creating additional jobs in each island and will invest in training and development for all employees.</p>
<p>&#8220;People in the Channel Islands have been telling us for years that they want a Waitrose. Our supply relationship with Sandpiper CI shows there&#8217;s strong demand for Waitrose quality food and I&#8217;m delighted that we will now be able to bring the full Waitrose offer to the Channel Islands,” said Mark Price, Waitrose Managing Director.</p>
<p>&#8220;The move is part of our strategy to make the Waitrose brand accessible to more people in more places and builds on our recent acquisitions from the Co-op and Woolworths, as well as our strategic partnerships with Welcome Break and Boots.&#8221;</p>
<p>In line with its commitment to local sourcing, Waitrose is planning to sell a wide range of food produced within the Channel Islands and will be working closely with local suppliers.</p>
