The coolest thing since sliced bread.

It’s not often I get excited by shiny silver technology…well, not often…ahem….but I’ve just been forced to stop work entirely and rush to the bank to see if I have a spare £160 to fork out on one of these beauties…

Magimix’s Vision Toaster is the very first see through toaster. It has a glass window so you can watch your bread get browner and browner and then at the appropriate moment you can either pop it up or sit back and watch it get blacker and blacker until the smoke alarm begins to howl and the fire brigade come knocking (or smashing) through your front door.

Unfortunately boring tech speak has to get it’s look in with the following nonsense: it has long life quartz elements or something, extra wide slots with automatic self centering whatever, a special lift lever to safely get at small bits of bread….God how dull, and accurate timing control or something equally as yaaaaaaaaaawn.

What’s obviously most important to anyone who has any sense is that it’s see-thru so you can WATCH YOUR FOOD COOK instead of talking to your friends or loved ones in the morning, as well as being able to stuff it full of things you’re not supposed to and smile at them as they melt.

Genius.

Apparently it’ll be available in the UK sometime this month and will cost about £160.

Ok that would save me lifting my toaster and peering into it. But can it cook my boiled eggs too, i think not.

Still my winner, nothing like a boiled egg and dippy soldiers on a Sunday eve. Lovely

That is cool, I wonder how it handles crumpets?
