The search engine giant Google have continued their annual April Fools’ barrage of worldwide pranks with the 2011 Gmail Motion Beta. The spoof video hilariously suggests the use of spatial tracking technology to use your email without a mouse or keyboard. Actions similar to ‘fly away Peter, fly away Paul’ are commands for ‘reply’ and ‘reply all’ respectively and of course to send a message simply lick a stamp and place it down. Among Googles repertoire of pranks this year is Chromercise, increasing hand strength and dexterity while browsing the web faster (the video is hilarious), Google Teleport in China allowing users to time travel anywhere in the world and a dragon in Germany’s biggest forest on Google Maps.
