Designed by Athanasios Babalis for client Domaine Gerovasilliou, these wine bottle boxes can be stacked to form your very own wine rack. The boxes come in a range of sizes able to hold one to three bottles of wine and were designed to look like a bunch of grapes from the side when stacked. Really nice idea and lovely execution and use of materials. ‘The use of Oak plywood as the main material was chosen because it makes references to the Oak barrels the wine matures in. The client logo appears on the box and on a label on the handle which also explains the concept and the way to reuse the box.’
